Looking for A Good Sound Editor that Works Well with Window-Eyes

Hi, Folks.  Suddenly, I have an assignment that requires a sound 
editor.  Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of dollars to spare, and I 
need to get this work done within the next two weeks. Anybody know of a 
sound editor that's easy to use, is well-supported, and works well with 
Windows 10?  For the long-term, I'll buy something that costs more if it 
means I'll have a quality product.  Thanks in advance.--Matthew Chao
