Audacity is an open-source audio editor; there is a guide for using it with
JAWS; I think you could do most things with Window-Eyes also.
I use SoundForge Audio Studio under Windows 10. Some parts of the program
are only accessible with the mouse pointer, but it works well for what I
want to do, and the price is in the $40 or $50 range.

Window-Eyes
I haven't read all of the posts on the subject yet, but I would vote for
gold wave. It's about 50 bucks, lifetime support, all the updates are free.
It even has a list of keyboard commands and everything. If I can help you
with any of it please email me off list. Chuck

Hi, Folks. Suddenly, I have an assignment that requires a sound editor.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of dollars to spare, and I need to get
this work done within the next two weeks. Anybody know of a sound editor
that's easy to use, is well-supported, and works well with Windows 10?
For the long-term, I'll buy something that costs more if it means I'll
have a quality product. Thanks in advance.--Matthew Chao
