An Amazon echo is a smart bluetooth speaker. It has many different
things about it, far too many to mention here. An easier question is
what can't it do? People are developing what are called skills for it
all the time, which you enable from the iOS app or on the web page
already mentioned. You can set timers for things, have it play internet
radio stations from TuneIn Radio, Pandora, Audible, I could go on for an
hour but that'd bor everyone.
