Hi Curtis, If you're running Windows 7, as am I on one of my machines, you might find that, within a day or so, it will start working again. I say this because, the day before yesterday, my PC was displaying sluggishness when receiving infrared signals from my remote control. This happened one day, for no apparent reason, it lasted aday or two, and then it suddenly began working properly again. I made no change to the driver for my serial port adaptor where the infrared receiver is plugged in. So, why on one day it stopped working and then began working a couple of days later, I can't no for sure. I'm not taken to paranoid suspicion, but could it be that Microsoft is up to something? I've had this PC for over 5 years now, and, with Windows 10 being advocated so strongly, is it a coincidence that my old Windows 7 machine is acting up. It makes me wonder. Smile
