I think George is providing instructions for creating a web page bookmark on the desktop, not a desktop shortcut the Internet Explorer program. Here is one strategy for adding a shortcut to Internet Explorer on the desktop in Windows 10: 1. Open Start menu 2. Type in Internet Explorer 3. Press the application key or Shift-F10 to open the context menu (Internet Explorer will be selected in the list of suggested programs) 4. Down arrow to Open file location and press Enter 5. Use Arrow keys to select iexplore.exe 6. Open context menu 7. Arrow down to Send to and press Enter to open pull down 8. Arrow down to Desktop (create shortcut) and press Enter Best, Marc
