I do rather think that JAWS will still be developed, as will Window-eyes. But things with JAWS haven't exactly been revolutionary of late. Most of the updates and improovements involve toys. Window-eyes may lack some of the features, but it's more stable.

What if it is jaws that they decide not to further develop, and window-eyes
continues getting developed?

Subject: David Woo interview

I have3 just finished listening to that interview and my heart is very heavy
indeed! I have no doubt that in six months time David will be gaily
announcing that, after long anhd serious consideration (counting the number
of JAWS customers and compared to the number of Window-Eyes customers" VFO
has decided to cancel allfurther development of Window-eyes and concentrate
on developing JAWS (which, incidentallyhas more customersBut
existingWindow-Eyes customers may be assured that VFOhas their best
interests at heart. VFOwill allow them to purchase a bright shiny copy of
JAWS with a great reduction of 10percent, a great deal never to be repeated
again.

Forget all the BS about serving customers. It's clear that the only driving
force will be good old fashioned money!

RIP Winbdow-Eyes!
