The windows key that you are talking about not doing anything, probally
isn't a windows key. There are so many different configurations of
keyboard
now days. You have to pay very close attention to what keyboard you get
with
your PC and if you are buying a keyboard either wireless or whatever
make
sure the keyboard you choose has the keys present that you need with
Window
eyes or whatever your are using.

I also have an Asus laptop. I was very surprised to discover the lack of
the
keys you mention. I have set my caps lock key to act as the insert key.
The
page-up, page-down, and other functions have to be performed using the
function key combined with the control and shift keys. When I have to do
a
lot of typing, I use an external keyboard. When I bought the computer, I
didn't even thhink to ask whether these keys were present; I just
assumed.
Silly me!

help please I did ask for a link from the support staff but apparently

did not come through. Spyware is web root which Best Buy installed for
me.
It might be blocking The installation of other software. I can tell it's
going to be a long day
