Brice,
The site you told me you experienced this problem on (att.net) does in fact 
have hyphenated words wrapping from one visual line to the next. For example: 
get - ting, outra - geous, etc. This would help explain why you are hearing 
words being split. This is not a Window-Eyes issue as the screen reader is just 
respecting how the text is displayed on the page.

My last message showed up with the context of the message mysteriously lost 
somewhere in cyber space. Question, is there way to prevent words in a news 
story from being split at the end of a line using FX? I'm not even sure the 
words being split , are split at scilibles.
