Hi Martha,

You may not hear each word being selected as you proceed, but, assuming the
entire block of text is recognized by Window-Eyes as such, Control-Shift-M
will read the block.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: selected text

        Hi.

Using Windows 10, WE 9.4, BECKY! email.

When reading an email that I have received, I sometimes want to select text
to copy it. I am using the usual keyboard commands to select the text, but,
I am not hearing what is selected as I move from word to word, for example.
What WE setting do I need to change to once again hear what is
selected/highlighted?

Thanks.

Martha
