Hi. At approximately 7:30 p.m. last evening when checking e-mail in Outlook 2016, I ran into the following issue. When I press the shortcut key to open Outlook 2016, it opens in the inbox as expected. Any messages that land in the inbox read as expected. But when I open the deleted items folder with ctrl-y and pressing d until I hear deleted items, the deleted items folder opens. When I press the home key to make sure I'm at the top of the deleted items list, I hear selected, one of 47. Pressing down arrow announces selected, two of 47, three of 47, and so on. When I press the ctrl-end key, then Window-eyes reads messages correctly by saying, let's say, John Smith, whether or not it was read, the time and date of receipt, and so on. I was on the phone with a Microsoft Accessibility Answer Desk representative who suggested we try uninstalling and reinstalling Window-eyes 9.4.0. The issue is still unresolved. I also received a Gw Toolkit error after I turned on the computer and before I sent this message.
I am running Window-eyes 9.4.0 under Windows 10. I am using Eloquence Reed. I hope I provided enough information. Thank you. Mike M P.S. This issue is not occurring using Window-eyes on my laptop running Outlook 2016 under Windows 7. Ok, I'm heading back to bed. I started to send this message last night but was interrupted. I thought shutting the pc down overnight would resolve the issue, but no go. . _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
