Hi, Larry. I tried the extended dictionary app in its early version and didn't like it so I uninstalled it. I am not trying to discourage you from trying it out. No, there is no license fee. I can't see what sense it would make for an app creator to allow users of Window-eyes to be able to download free apps and then to charge a license fee. I understand that you wish to be careful. I will download free apps when available, but I wouldn't want to download a free app and have to pay a license fee .
