Standard Windows functionality. Simply click the column header that you want to sort on (Sent Date, Received Date, etc.) until you see it in the order you want. There are three states like I stated before. Ascending, descending, and none/no-sort. You can sort on fields in the address book the same way...just click on the column header you want. Name, Email-Address, Address Group...whatever.
