Hey Steve,
My biggest accessibility things that i need. for instance, how to highlight an audio selection that i wanna delete or whatever. For instance, if you wanna highlight some particular aurio, you put an in and out marker with the left and right bracket and hit delete. If i can do things like that i'll be extremely happy. I have an older version of adobe. As far as your daily use, what i am doing is stuff like taking audio and putting it under a music bed. If i can do stuff like that i'll be thrilled.

Cheers,
Jed

Jed,

I used Audition a long time back but have occasionally checked on the demos
since. I think you will find that the keyboard support is quite good and
that you can assign keys to commands that may not already be assigned. The
display of data has been more problematic since Audition changed how data
was displayed, but there is an app that helps with that.

If you are just starting out with sound editing, I would strongly urge you
to take the time to try a number of them before committing to one. This is
not a small job by any means. Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, Gold Wave, and
Audasity are four that come to mind that are accessible to varying degrees
and have different strengths and weaknesses. Also, their prices are very
different. What may ultimately drive your decision is not which is most
accessible, but rather, if one of those programs does something you need
that is not done as well by the others. I believe that all of them have
problems with accessibility and certain plug-ins, so be prepared not to
reject a program because you encounter a specific problem. If you try
Audition with the app, I, for one, would be very interested to hear what you
discover. I find these sound editors to be very complicated, though, and
one needs to take the time to learn them well before making judgements.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Anyone on here used the audio editing program adobe audition? Curious
to what it has for keyboard support if any. I've heard it is usable.
