It is mostly used by sighted people, for us it makes totally no sense.

When enabled, this feature allows you to see blank lines, paragraph marks,
and other whitespace characters on screen.

Yes, that fixed it. Thanks very much! Now, what feature is this that I
turned on? What does it do?

You turned the feature on in word. Press control-shift-8 (on the number
row) to turn it off.

Subject: WE 9.5.1: spaces and newlines reading wrong in Outlook2013
Hi,
I upgraded to WE 9.5.1 yesterday and, shortly afterwards, was composing an
email. I noticed that, when moving around in the text of the email,
Window-Eyes now reads space characters as bullets and new-line characters as
paragraphs. That is to say that it speaks "bullet" when I arroe-key past a
space and "paragraph" when I move the cursor to a new-line.
Is this a bug in 9.5.1's Outlook support? Or do I have a setting off
somewhere? This wasn't happening in 9.4.
Thanks,
Keith
