In Window-Eyes 9.5.1, you can configure this verbosity option in the Window-Eyes control panel Settings tree. Open Verbosity then Browse Mode and select Languages. Press F6 to navigate to the options area. Then, Tab down and look for a radio button group called "Switch synthesizer languages automatically". This option should be in the same place in older versions of Window-Eyes too. Best, Marc

I’m using WE 8.4, and some setting got changed somewhere along the line so that now, on some websites, and in some email messages, WE starts speaking in foreign accents. I’ve looked around a fair bit to see what setting I need to change to turn this language recognition back off, but haven’t been able to find it. Could someone direct me to where I need to go to turn this off? It’s harder to understand WE when it’s speaking in a British accent. Thanks.
