As no one seems to have answered your question, I will try to do so.
1. Go into AVG either through the icon on the desktop or through the icon in
the system tray.
2. Try to find the "Settings". These days, AVG has made it very difficult to
find but I think that if you are using Windows 7 or higher, the settings can
be found under "Options". If not, try using the mouse to click "Identity
Protection" and then shift tab. You might just find it that way, but you
will have to persevere to find the settings. A tab page will now appear.
3. Locate "Email Protection" and then certification.
4. Uncheck the check box for "Certify incoming email'
5. tab to and Press the "OK" button.
