Chris, Thank you for your response. I don't think CN was tested very thoroughly under Windows 10. Often times, using ctrl-B, a link won't open or it takes at least 1 minute, if not longer for it to open. There are core funtions like follow that are undefined and you can't hide the app under windows 10 or you will never see it again without re-installing it. Also, there appears to be two ways to arrow through tweets which causes confusion when trying to pen a link in a tweet. This I believe, goes to the lack of thoroughness in testing. The two ways to arrow through are up and down arrow or win-alt-up or down arrow.
Thanks for the info on the developer. That's not good as he needs to be open to input from the community. Actually, both TW blue and Chicken nugget both work just fine under Windows 10. In fact, the latest version of CN even checks to see if you're using Windows 10, and if so, switches to the correct keymap. Because Windows 10 has changed some of the key assignments, you will have to use alt, plus windows plus any other key to do what you want i.e. to move up and down in your list of tweets, in windows 10, you're always going to use alt plus windows plus up arrow to move up in the list, and alt plus windows plus down arrow to move down. It doesn't matter wether you're using TW Blue or Chicken Nugget, both are the same. I prefer TW blue because it moves a lot faster than Chicken nugget does, at least on this particular system, plus it's free, while CN costs 15 bucks. Also, the money for me isn't really the issue. The developer of TW blue is a whole lot nicer than the developer of Chicken Nugget is. I think being stung by a horde of bees is a nicer experience than having to deal with that particular individual. So, I go with the nicer guy, and the program that works better. By the way, the only keystroke that hasn't changed in Windows 10 is replying to a tweet. it's still control plus windows plus r. I'm not sure why that is, but it is the same. you can get TW blue at http://www.twblue.es The developer speaks spanish, but is also very good at English so he should be able to answer any questions or help with any issues you have. The only command that's stayed the same, no matter what version of Windows you use, On 8/21/2016 2:36 PM, Andy Baracco via Talk wrote: > I absolutely love TW Blue. > > Andy > > > -----Original Message----- From: Karyn Campbell via Talk > Sent: Sunday, August 21, 2016 10:04 AM > To: Window-Eyes list > Subject: Twitter client > > Hello all, > > I'm looking for a twitter client that works well with Window-Eyes and has > been tested and works on Windows 10.
