Subject: Having problem opening a file

Hey guys,

I am running the latest version of WE, and am running in to an issue.
At work, we have 3 files that we have to edit, and they are shortcuts on the
desktop. 2 of them are excelle spreadsheets, and the other 1 is an access
database. here's the problem. I go to the desktop, and click on the file.
Every time i do it, Window-eyes says the program is not responding.
However, i've had someone look at it visually on the screen and they all say
the file is open and they can see it just fine. This makes no sense at all.
Why would window-eyes do this. Until now i've had to have my partner who i
work with put the data in these files.
Quite frankly in my eyes this is unacceptable, and i need to be able to do
it myself. If the file can be seen on the screen, why would WE say it's not
responding? Any ideaas on how to fix the problem?

Thanks,
Jed
