Hi Don,

Although you refer to the fact that you want to set the verbosity, I think
you are, in fact, wanting to know what setting is best for the mouse
boundary rotor, set using Control-Shift-B.
By default, Window-Eyes sets this to the Active Window, and the reason for
this is that the user would tend to be confused were it set to Full Screen,
since, then, the mouse would be able to explore regions of the screen beyond
the active window.
However, the way many programmers these days design their applications, the
active window does not necessarily correspond to the entire application
window, such that, restricting the mouse pointer to the active window may
restrict the mouse pointer to a small region of the application window;
Practically speaking, this restriction is, in fact, the focused window;
in such circumstances, you miss regions of the application window you would
be able to move to the with the mouse pointer if it wre set to a larger
boundary.
Unfortunately, your only choice it to set it to the next largest boundary,
namely, the Full Screen option, and then, of course, you'll have to deal
with the fact that the mouse pointer will encounter regions outside your
active application.

I hope this makes sense and helps,

Rod

Subject: screen to be or not to be

Hi Folks:

I am never sure if I should have the screenset to full regardless or leave
it to whatever comes upas I move around in my computer.

I would like to take full advantage as to whatever I can see on the screen.

So, re above, what is the best setting in verbosity in
the we control panel for reading the screen?

I notice sometimes when I use the mouse keys, sometimes I just get a ding,
sometimes I hear a small part of the screen.

Running windows 10 on one computer and running windows 7 on the other, both
running latest we 9.51

Thanks
