Make sure the files are actually associated and active. Also, you will need to go into the Window-Eyes Control Panel in the Keyboard node and set at least the function keys to speak. You may wish to have all keys speak. This is especially true if you have reinstalled Window-Eyes for any reason and don't have your set files bcked up. I just installed the new version of GoldWave and need to do the same thi8ng.

Subject: problem with window-eyes and goldwave

Hi,
could anyone help. I have installed goldwave on my new 7 machine,
with window-eyes 9.4.

However, unlike my xp machine with a really old version of we, it is
not announcing the keys I am pressing. eg. paus, play and so on.
It does not seem to be using the set files either, although they are
installed.
Could anyone offer any advice on what I can do to get it working.
Also if necessary could someone explain how to activate the keyboard
to read for just that program rather than globally.

thanks for any help.
