Hi: Regarding the f8 key and selecting text, to me it works in different ways. Depending:
Sometimes a link in an email, f8 twice works, other times, I hit at the first character, then I keep arrowing right until I hdar a ding, then I backup one character and then hit f8, it works every time More work, but it has never failed.
