Interesting that Window Eyes is replaced with JAWS in both programs.

Do you think they are looking at the Features in JAWS vs. the features
in Window Eyes, and figuring it is easier to add the JAWS Screen Reader,
than it is to Upgrade Window Eyes to have the same features as JAWS?

Perhaps in 2018 or 19 all of us Window Eyes users will be given a Once
in a Life Time Upgrade offer to Go to JAWS for a One Time low price of
$399.99 Two Thirds the regular price of JAWS etc.

NVDA is not my favorite, but it does about 80 per cent of what I do on
a computer.

I will not say I am a "NEVER JAWS" kind of guy, but I like Window Eyes,
and have not been thrilled with JAWS and how that Company tends to come
up with upgrades, maybe once a year, for which they charge money. If
the upgrade actually has something in it worth while, then alright, I
get it. But I also don't like the Licensing method JAWS uses. I use
Window Eyes on Four different systems, two of which I use all the time,
the other two, only when I travel. I doubt if JAWS is going to allow me
to do this. not without paying some extra Bucks to put it on the extra
one or two machines, even though I can only use one system at a time.

Oh Well. Will Cross all of these Bridges when and if they actually come.
But, it is always fun to predict the future.

I do know this though, If I like something, I mean, really like
something. If I go back the next year to buy another one, inevitably I
will be told that that item has been discontinued, and it has been
replaced with a newer model. I then look at the newer model, and it is
as if the Company did everything it could do to ruin the original design
from the year before!

And we all call this Progress?
