Good morning everyone,

Somehow, while I was in the process of installing another piece of software
yesterday, the Avast anti-malware program decided to install itself on my
system and now I can't get rid of the darn thing. I've already tried the
usual uninstall method, but that doesn't work. I've heard that there's some
kind of utility called Avastclear that can be used, but it requires safe
mode, which I'm not familiar with, and I'm not one to mess around with my
computer's technical settings. Have any of you ever had to remove Avast from
your systems? And if so, is there an accessible way to remove it? Thanks.

Mike
