Tom, you might try reading a book with Balabolka,
a free program. You can read with a tts voice or your screen reader.

It appears that the only way I may be able to
attempt to read a Kindle book I purchased is to
download it ontomy PC and try working with a
program such as Codex. Thus, I really need the
PC app to work for me. One lister gave me
instructions on how to register my PC with the
Kindle site. It appears to have been done.
However, Iâm back to figuring out how to
actually select and download a book. Has anyone
done this recentlynot several years ago, nott 1
or 2 years ago, but with the latest Window-Eyes,
IE 11, and Windows 7 64-bit Pro. Detailed
instructions, please? Yes, I have done some
crost-posting about this, hoping for an answer.
