Well, How it came to be, was that the venders selling JAWS, Window-Eyes, etc all put JAWS at the top of their lists. More money, more funding from education, employers to teach students. Pluss the deliberate lies being told about Window-Eyes by those same venders. The lies about the Window-Eyes and Microsoft office deal. For example, venders would tell custoemers that the version of Window-Eyes that you can get at no cost is not a full version, it only lasts 30 days, it is a basic program, etc, etc, etc. Pluss, they would also say things like GW Micro was going bust, that there is no point going with Window-Eyes. All of this is false. First, of all, GWMicro, at the time the venders said that was never going bust, they were and still are a superb company, The version you get of Window-Eyes with office 2010-2013-2016 is the full version, with the only difference being that you only get two voices but you can buy Eloquence, DecTalk, Vocaliser, and Vocaliser expressive. Pluss, you can buy tech support insodents if you need to phone for tech support.
