Hi, I think this is a focus issue. Try Alt-tabbing away and back to the message. Also, I assume you're using SendTo to attach the file? You might have more success in keeping focus if you open a brand new message first, then use your email program's built-in file-attachment function. For example, in Outlook, you would choose the Attach file option from the Insert tab.
