first make sure the insert layout app is off. control shift zero. this app
disables the normal read to end. sometimes even after you turn the app off. i
removed this app.

it only works when reading incomeing messages. it doesn't work when trying to
edit a composed message. for this you have to turn browse mode on and most of
the time all you will get is invalid key press for every key you press. the
only way you can get out of browse mode after this is to either close the
message and reload, or reload w e. but don't use browse mode or it will happen
again.

I’ve never been able to get the read-to-end hotkey to work with Windows Live
Mail. I’m using a Dell laptop with Window-Eyes 9.5.3, the free version. Does
