Hi Don, This happens to me as well, the loss of speech, I mean, although I can get speech to respond again if I Alt -tab away, and wait a bit.

When using IE as my web browser I am having a issue where WE stops speaking. Here are the steps that cause the issue. I go to any Web site. I want to search for a term on the web page so I hit ctrl shift f. I type in what I want to look for and hit enter. We goes silent. I then have to use control alt w to restart WE to get speech back. This happens on a regular basis but not all the time. Anyone else experiencing this?
