Hi Richard, I look through the Options and I couldn't find a way to change it. Get to Options by pressing, one at a time, Alt, F, T, whereupon you'll be in a multi-tab dialog containing all Outlook options. Neither the General nor the Mail tab have a setting for changing how often mail is retrieved, at least not that I could find.
