Hi David,

Select the message in your Deleted items folder, press the Applications key or
Shift-F10, then press M for Move and then you'll get a list of folders you've
previously moved messages to, and one option down the list is Other, the
shortcut being O, and this wil pop up a dialog of folders you can move messages
to in a tree view, through which you can pick a folder.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: Outlook 2016 and moving messages to a folder

Hi All,

I am really embarrassed but I accidently deleted the directions someone sent
me a few months ago about how to move a message from one folder to another
folder in outlook I accidently put something in the deleted folder and need
to get it back to the orginal folder it was saved in. Any help on how to do
this would be greatly appreciated.

Dave
