Hi Don,

I have two systems that run 9.3. I too received the Noticed that I
needed the Update. So chose the appropriate links and when through the
steps of downloading and installing the latest update.

Everything acted like it had installed just fine. That is until I shut
the system down and then restarted it the next day, when I received the
Notice that there was an update available. I looked in the Help and
then About Window Eyes and I was back to running the older 9.3 edition.

So I again, chose the links to go through the download and install of
the update. This time I shut the system down and checked it after
re=booting.  I was back running 9.3.

So, for what ever reason, the install of the update was not working. So
I went to the GW Micro Web site, and downloaded the update, and saved it
as a file.

I then ran the Saved update file, and again went through the update
install. This time it worked as it should. I was running the latest
edition of Window Eyes.

I had to do this on both of my systems, the one here at home and the one
I have at work.

Do not know why there was a problem, but saving the file and then
running that file after shutting down my Browser, worked fine. Sounds
like you may need to do the same.
