My guess is that you are not virtualizing your messages. You can toggle this on by using Alt + Shift + V when focused on the inbox. Alternatively, if you go to the WE control panel and open the apps menu, the arrow down to the Outlook Enhance app, you should be able to check if the Message Virtualization Enabled option is checked.
