I have a friend that needs to make a couple of changes to get Word to
work properly with her screen reader. Someone did some work on her PC
and now, she has a couple of issues. First, how does one set default
settings for all documents, i.e., making sure the text is black on a
white background and the spacing is the standard single spacing.
Second, she has a long, very long, file that she has used for over 50
years. It is a simple text file with all the books she has read during
her lifetime. There is one book per line. She sorts the titles
alphabetically, so needs to get to each page to add new entries. Since
the person made changes to her PC, now, when she looks at the document,
all of the even-numbered pages do not show up in the list. She did
nothing special to divide the pages. She has found a way to get the
even pages back once she opens the document, with about eight
keystrokes. Is there a way she can make all pages show up again and
make this be the default for opening Word without having to key in all
of those keystrokes that might make the pages readable for the one time
she opens the file? Thanks for any help.
Carol
