Hi Ted,

Note that when you switch to a synthesizer in the Synthesizers treeview, it
will automatically revert to the previous one unless you press K to Keep
Changes.
Therefore, you're free to try them out without fear of losing speech.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: synthesizer questions

Dear List:

On my Asus computer with windows ten and the latest window-eyes, I wish to
try different synthesizers that are shown in the window eyes control panel.
The dec talk access 32 was chopping off the first part of the character or
word if I waited for more than five seconds. I noticed with Eloquence that
a phrase such as Jonah's book dropped off the apostrophe and the s. Which
other of the 25 synthesizers shown there will actually talk. I do not want
to try one and find that I lose speech and have to resort to using Narrator.
Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
