Hello,

I have a file, made with MS Word 2010. This file was started in 2010,
and is a long document filled with Phone Numbers of people, Places and
government offices.

I have added to this document, subtracted from it, and is an on going
document I use all the time.

Today, I was using a Windows 10 System, with MS Word 2010, and I called
this document up to use a phone number stored in this document.

I had page after page of information, Phone numbers, address, Names of
Businesses etc. You could call it a Mini Phone Book.

I could not find the numbers I needed. And I knew they should be there.
I had put them in there, so I know they should be there. But, I could
not find them.

So, I do keep a Back up of this document, so I grabbed the document and
called it up on an older XP System, still using Window Eyes 8.4. This
system also has a copy of the Same MS Word 2010, installed from the same
Disc.

And sure enough, the number I was looking for was there just as I
thought it should be.

So I put the file on a Flash drive and take it to the Windows 10 system.
I copy the file into the Documents folder and start up MS Word on the
Win 10 system.

I am using Window Eyes 9.5 on this system, and once again, I could not
find the phone number that I had just read on this same file, on the
older system using the older Window eyes version.

Now a lot of info was in the document. So much so, that I would easily
believe the document was complete. And yet, at least on this Win 10
system and WE 9.5, not everything is read.

Very strange, and so I ask any here, does any here have any ideas why
this document is read totally by the older machine with the older copy
of WE, and only a few numbers are missing when the same document is
called up on the Win 10 with WE 9.5.

Go Figure!
