Hi Ivan,

My guess is that you accidentally activated the Insert-Key layout.
Press Control-Alt-0 to toggle it on and off.
When off, your numpad should behave normally.

Subject: problem with keypad

My computer has just updated to the Anniversary edition. I could not
intervene in the process because I could not recall the key stroke to
initiate narrator. The process went well except that I now have a problem
with the keypad. I can't bring up the time and date. When I hit control and
5 on the key board it only says 5 instead of  reading the current line. Any
suggestions please.
