Yeah they could indeed. I am using NVDA right now and one of the new features that it has is the abillity to read Kindle books with browse mode.

Would it be possible for someone to transfer this list to another host should VFO decide to discontinue it here? I suspect window-eyes will work for a while, and it would be nice to have a place to ask questions, especially with the current state of phone tech support from VFO (with folks that had to learn W-e only recently for the take-over). NVDA just had an update, and the list is very active. There appears to be a tech person from NVDA who is very good at answering questions along with a bunch of helpful users. You have to pay to talk to a human from NVDA, but since the list is very responsive that doesn't appear to be as big an issue as I thought it would be. Still clinging to Window-eyes, but good to know. I'm wondering what will become of our SMAs and if vfo will transfer the many, many Window-eyes users to jowls. Remember word Perfect? I owned the program, but when I switched to windows, I didn't spend the money for an upgrade. Maybe that is what will happen with window-eyes. This is all very depressing, and the lack of any info from vfo makes it worse. they could at least communicate with us. Brenda .
