The response depends upon the nature of the question. For instance: a positive response will be likely if the question is a Window-Eyes support related question.
However: product development and future viability questions won't be answered beyond a commitment towards the future of Window-eyes. People often say here: "we will hear about the new release when it is released" which is all that Doug can say in this environment of corporate stealth and secrecy. I'm not attacking the notion of commercial sensitivity. All contractors are also subject to usual non-disclosure stuff. However: we are finding out about VFO's future intentions in a very underhand way.
