Dear tony,

First try to make a free skype test call using the Echo123 skype contact skype
testing service, when the woman stop talking you can say something and wait to
see if at the other end are hearing your voice, if not the reasons can possibly
one of the following:

1. if you are using headset with microphone, make sure that you do not turn off
the headphones mic switch into the off position.

Secondly, from the skype options unde the tools menu, the proper microphone is
selected under the recording tab.

Lastly it could be that the microphone can be muted. To unmute the microphone
just press insert+S to get into the system tray, then select
headphones/speakers depending on what you're using at the moment
Then open the volume mixer, use the tab key to move from one item to another
and you should land on the microphone button, if it is mute, unmute it.

Thanks,

Subject: skype problem

Hi all,

When I be talking on skype I don't know why the other person doesn't hear my
computer speech, it wasn't like that before.

Can somebody explain to me why this is happening? And what I should do to
resolve this problem please?

Thanks in advance

Anthony
