Also to add to this, PDF files use the 8.4 version of Browse mode, so
you still have table mode with control-dash to enter it.

In a PDF document where I can toggle browse mode on and off, should I be
able to use the F8 copy method to grab text? Also, should I be able to
use the table navigation of caps lock and arrows to move around? I was
just trying both on a pdf file I'm helping another lister look at and
neither are working.
