Until today, I was using Eset Antivirus version 8, since there were problems
with accessibility for the later versions, or so I'd understood. But today
I upgraded to version 10, and it works beautifully with Window-Eyes.

I'd been waiting for one of the tech geeks on the list to test it out for
me, and post a reassuring message. Smile. If someone did, I missed it. So
here is that reassuring message for anyone else who missed it too and who
has been waiting.

Rumming Windows 10, Window-Eyes version 9.5.4.

I recently installed WE on a new PC and WE starts automatically when the

make

You need to run Window-Eyes as administrator to get this change to work.

Well, V F O Group will make an announcement when it's ready to LIE to us

HEALED, others will spit it out and GET NO HEALING! Unless I hear from Doug

believe that I have ASHAMEDLY LIED to myself, but I'll keep my listening

i just did that very thing, and had to obtain a replacement copy of WE from
VFO because I had been upgrading on line, and the last disk I had was pretty
old. The only problem was getting WE not to run at startup, but the "run as
admin" tip did the trick. I do not like when any program just assumes that
you want it to run at startup.

Hello,
You're probably a more advanced user than I am when it comes to the
information you want from an antivirus program. If I can scan my computer,
check for updates and program upgrades manually when needed, that's all I
need. I leave Eset to get on with it. Smile. I have gone into tools to
check if anything is quarantined, never, and you're right, the new screen
here has changed and seems not as accessible. Once with version 8, I had an
issue and called Eset. I could not read the information he requested from
the depths of the program, but he took control of my computer and checked
for me that all was ok, which it was.
You can't get that level of customer service from many antivirus programs.
But the protection is the same with version 8 as with version 10, as I was
told, so there's no harm in waiting for something more to your needs.
But I just discovered that the tab works, as well as the Window-Eyes mouse
to navigate and interact with the Eset screen. I also have friends who go
to "My Computer" or "This PC" and use the context menu to scan their C
drives. Whatever works! Smile.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to delete bookmarks in Mozilla?

I posted this question a few weeks ago and only one person responded and
told me to highlight the bookmark by arrowing to it and then push Delete.

Well that did not work but I know it works in Explorer.

So if anyone can tell me the proper way to delete bookmarks in Mozilla it
would be greatly appreciated.

Using windows 10 anniversary edition, most current version of Window Eyes
and most current version of Mozilla.

I think you are right, but, find the bookmark, then hit the context key,
down arrow to delete, hit it, then go back to your bookmarks and it should
be gone

The way I do it is find your bookmark, then hit the context keky on your
keyboard, arrow down to delete and hit it, now back to your ook marks and it
should be gone

OK, I will try to explain this.
First, with Firefox open, press alt plus B (as in Bookmarks.)
Next, press enter on "show all bookmarks."
You will now be in the bookmarks library.
You can right arrow to expand the bookmarks toolbar or the next item
down. In both of these groups, you can now tab to the list of available
bookmarks.
From here, you are on the actual bookmark and can press either the
delete key or the context key and find delete with your down arrow and
press enter. If you tab around enough, you will be put back in the main
link you started it. Apparently, I don't have any marks in my unsorted
bookmarks heading because I can't expand that one, or there is nothing
listed there if I tab.

The primary thing to remember is that you can not delete the bookmarks
from the bookmark menu.

I hope this is easy enough to understand. If you need other help, you
can write me back and I will see if I can figure out something else.

Carol

I purchased a new keyboard for my desktop computer and it is slightly
different in the layout.

I know there is a keyboard command that will tell me what each key is and
its function. Can someone please tell me that keyboard command? Thanks so
much.
