Hi Debra, I'm wondering if it is simply that you've accidently changed keyboard languages. This happens if you press the keys Control-Shift alone. Try pressing these again and see if you hear "Language changed." If so, repeated pressing of this key combination should return to the proper language. I have seen this many times, for sighted people too, and it drives them nuts too. (smile)
