Hi. so I just updated my
laptop to the creator's update and all of a sudden, Window-eyes 9.5.4.0
no longer reads tweets when using the latest TW Blue, and messages from
Miranda NG won't read either. I've done a bunch of stuff before I
decided to write this message, so let me tell you what I did so we can
elimiate any unknowns. I thought it might be the Window-eyes display
driver, so I updated it, and the programs I mentioned still won't read
propperly. When going up and down in the list of tweets, Window-eyes
does not speak at all using the invisible interface of tw blue.
However, when I show the window, the tweets read just as they should.
I've also returned the settings in Window-eyes to their factory
defaults, still no dice. I've even gone so far as to uninstall, and
re-install Window-eyes, in hopes that that would fix it. Still no go.
I've made sure that the windows theme is set to classic, and the
background is solid color. I checked and my video card drivers are even
updated. The frustrating thing is that these programs work fine using
other screenreaders such as NVDA, but not Window-eyes. Do you guys have
any idea what I can do to fix this issue? I'm using my desktop to write
this since the creators update hasn't hit it yet, and after this
experience, i'm not looking forward to updating for obvious reasons.
