Have you recently tried cleaning up in the Cookies stored on your
computer? Websites now aday, love to throw a ton of useless cookies on
your computer. Several are known by long, to cause WinEyes to a crawl. I
regularly go through my cookies, and clean out any I don't see the
immediate benefit of. It sometimes give tremendous, and quite instant
results - in speeding up the operation of the web.

Firefox is a good alternative, and especially with the Noscript add-on
installed, which will help you block out a good number of cookies that
are not necessary for the operation of most websites.
