That's good to hear. It may be that Eset is more accessible now; that's why
I asked my question.

Subject: Eset 10

Eset popped up while I was on the internet, using Chrome rather than IE,
which may have been a good thing. It asked me if I wanted to allow
something or block it. Since I was unsure what it was talking about, I
chose block. Better safe than sorry. Smile. But I decided to run a scan,
just in case. I clicked scan from the main Eset screen, and saw from the
system tray that a scan was in progress. When I checked later, the scan in
progress message was gone. I alt-tabbed to the Eset screen where I read
that no threats had been found. I used alt-f4 to close the program.

I know some have stated that Eset 10 is not accessible with Window-Eyes.
For my needs, it's perfectly accessible. When it comes to antivirus
protection, I've never had a problem using Eset right out of the box, so to
speak, and leaving the program to get on with what I've paid it to do.

For the advanced computer people on the list, this may not be what you want.
But I think it's fine for the average user, and certainly for those with
limited computer skills and no interest in going beyond basic tasks. An
advantage for these last, and the rest of us too, regardless of skill level,
Eset tech support is available free with a quick phone call.

Again, JMO, in case the information proves useful to someone.

you.
