Actually: I did - perhaps not knowing about VFO as I thought a Microsoft deal
was going to develop. Window-eyes is still better than the latest release of
Narrator.

The Office deal was spun as a way of getting a good quality screen reader into
the hands of people who would other-wise not access Windows. Commendable and
based on sound principles of fair play for everyone. But it abandoned any
effort to promote deals for paying customers.

This is just sad. Nobody knew this would be happening to Window-Eyes when the
office deal happened. Nobody knew. Had we known Window-Eyes would be put into
jeperty we would have done something about the situation. Had more Window-Eyes
users got together and publisised this monopoly, things would be very different
just now.

@mikelauf1: @Robbie Sandberg : Window Eyes to be phased out when MS Office
support ends, says Eric Damery at SightCity VFO booth

While the support is no means complete, NVDA had it long before the main

Everyone kind of said that that would not happen. If this does happen, it will
be an absolute shame, because I found out two things regarding developments in
JAWS, and NVDA. NVDA has some support for Microsoft edge, and it also supports
adobe connect, quite nicely. Furthermore, JAWS does not as of this time,
support either of these programs.
