Hi. Here's how to change the JAWS key to the CAPS LOCK key.
Hit INSERT+J. In your setup the INSERT key is the JAWS key. Go to the options menu. If you have JAWS running in the system tray, you'll land on this menu choice. This is how I run JAWS. I'm not sure what JAWS looks like if not run from the system tray, but you want to get into the options menu. Hit ENTER on that choice. Now you'll be in the options menu. Go to BASICS and press ENTER. Now you'll be in a dialogue. TAB around until you hear KEYBOARD LAYOUT. My guess is you have it set to desktop. Change it to laptop. Finally, TAB to apply if it's available, hit ENTER on it, then hit ENTER on OK. That's all there is to it. If you have other questions, speak up. I don't know all the JAWS commands, but I do know some basic ones, and I can search through the JAWS info to help. Have a blessed day and don't work too hard.
