How interesting. Thanks so much.

This is only true with Eloquence.

If you are using Vocalizer or SAPI speech, you can adjust volume of the speech.

To do this, press Insert-j for the JAWS window. In the options menu, select
Voices. Under that, select Voice Adjustment. You’ll be asked to select a
default voice profile. Once you select Sapi or Vocalizer profile, you will
find that there is now a control you can tab to in order to set the speech
volume.

Hope this helps.

Is it correct that volume cannot be adjusted and set within JAWS, but instead
only with the system volume or physical volume controls on the computer? If it
can be set within JAWS, how is this done?

Thanks in advance.

I think that the Word Nav app was inspired by a feature that was already in

JAWS. And you go in and out of its browse mode with insert-Z, which is the

same keystroke that is used with web browsers in JAWS.

All,

I will soon make the move to JAWS. The Wordnav app has provided very nice

functionality for navigating MS Word documents.

What are the JAWS commands, if any, closest to those in Wordnav for moving

through headings, tables and other document features?

Thanks in advance.

I talked to customer service about something related to your question and

they told me that zoomtext fusion 11 will be using JAWS for the screen

reader portion of fustion and that the upgrade from zoomtext fustion 10 to

11 is quite costly but not as expensive as getting magic with JAWS. This is

not a direct answer to your concern about ap central. It is what happens to

WE after WE goes away.

Reeva,

Good question. At this point we have no plans on taking down app central

but clearly at some point in the future will become irrelevant and go down.

I would hope as long as Window-Eyes can continued to be used it would be up

and if it does need to go down we would give people ample notice.

Doug

Question, since we is done, how much longer will app central be around for

those using we/the we version of zt fusion?
