If you are using Vocalizer or SAPI speech, you can adjust volume of the speech. To do this, press Insert-j for the JAWS window. In the options menu, select Voices. Under that, select Voice Adjustment. You’ll be asked to select a default voice profile. Once you select Sapi or Vocalizer profile, you will find that there is now a control you can tab to in order to set the speech volume. Hope this helps.
