what do you mean the dectalk is gone?
if the power connector and cable is still good. it is probibly the battery is
dead.
the dectalk will not work with a dead battery. even if it is plugged into a c
power.
if you still have it do not throwt it away yet.
if you remove the battery it will start working with the power supply again.
but get help.
you have to remove the 6 screws on the bottom of the case. but be careful when
you pull the two haves apart. the speaker is in one half and the speaker wires
connect to the surcuit board on the other half of the case.
you only have about 2 inches of space.
there is a flat battery pack. its about one quarter inch thick. by 2 by 3
inches. when i had mine the battery connector was connected to the other half
of the case with a removable nylon connector. once the battery is removed and
put back together it should start working when it is plugged into a c power.

Subject: Using New Syynthesizer
Hi,
My Deck-talk Express is gone.
Something went bad in it.
Using Vocalizer Express Tom. It’s working real well.
