Press Jaws key+6 to get into settings center, press ctr+shift+d to use the 
default configuration.  Type the letters l a b into the edit box.  Tab over and 
press Space on the Key Label result.  A dialog will open showing you a list of 
all the keys you can change labels for.  For example, you can arrow down to Tab 
and you’ll hear JAWS say “Tab Tab Speak”.  Press Space on it and it will change 
to “Mute”.  When you’ve made all the changes you want, tab to OK and press 
Enter.  Next, you can hit alt+f4 to close Settings Center and say “Yes” to the 
prompt to save changes.
